Reviews and Ratings
The hotel's location is a major plus point, within a 5-minute walk from the town center and still quiet. The rooms, however, were a little tired, smelly, and mold-ridden due to being in the eaves of the building. Although the staff was extremely friendly and helpful, the dining experience was a disgrace with overpriced and poor-quality food.
The hotel had some drawbacks, like no lift and a bit of a facelift needed, but it's still a decent option for £110. The rooms were a bit smelly, tired, and could use some cleaning, though they were spacious in the eves of the building. The service, while friendly and knowledgeable about the area, only made us stay one night. The location was great, close to Gravesend town center and quiet with off-street parking. The dining was a letdown for the extra £20 paid for a meal that didn't meet expectations.
The hotel exceeded my expectations with its exceptional service and outstanding location, offering a warm and welcoming atmosphere. However, the room had minor issues with the mirrored wardrobe and lacked some dining options. Yet overall, the experience was delightful and comfortable.
The hotel is located within walking distance of bars and eating places, which is very convenient. The rooms have sloping ceilings, requiring caution to avoid hitting them and the toilet had flushing issues. Despite the friendly staff, the room felt tired and not worth the price due to stains and maintenance problems. The absence of a lift on four flights of stairs is inconvenient.
My stay at the hotel was a mixture of good and not-so-good experiences. The location was great, just a short walk from the town center, and the off-street parking was convenient. However, the room on the top floor was a bit disappointing as it was smelly, tired, and in need of a facelift. The dining experience was also subpar, not worth the extra money paid, with a disappointing breakfast.
